Just looking at your beautiful Posara and Watermill sketches makes me feel "home-sick" to
go back to Italy and the Watermill! Maybe next year. From sunny South Africa.

I'm happiest when I'm fed and comfortable...and I was so well fed and comfortable at Sharon's writing romance course at The Watermill. The day trip by train into the walled city of Lucca (famous for villa gardens, opera, the historic silk trade and fruits and vegetables) for lunch and then an entire afternoon to see Lucca was a dream come true. If you have always wanted to write a romance or even just write fiction or any words put down on paper then this course will be very helpful. Do not feel nervous that you won't come away with pages of writing or even one line. Just sit, listen, watch and learn from Sharon and have fun along the way with the fabulous wine and food and hiking into the nearby hills. This is a relaxed chance to learn the craft of romance writing from a woman who has over 70 published novels. Sharon is so much fun and a real teacher. I know as I attended one of her courses at The Watermill and loved the entire experience. This is the opportunity to see Italy, eat Italy, live Italy with the people who know Italy...and it won't break the bank. I flew Lufthansa Airlines from Toronto to Frankfurt, Germany and then a 45 minute connecting flight with Alitalia to Pisa, Italy where you will be met and driven by Watermill staff to your destination by a river.

And the above page was accepted (along with about 200 others) and will be published in 2012. It's called PLAYING THE GREEK'S GAME. (And let me tell you - it ain't poker!).

Hoping to see lots of you in the idyllic surroundings of the Watermill, where the mountains, the roses and the rushing river - do wonders to help fill the creative well. Two of my former students have been already published. Don't forget that Harlequin Mills & Boon are always on the look out for new talent and that what you'll learn on this course can be applied to any kind of novel writing. So what are you waiting for?
