Having fun painting a wet and windy Scottish isle with Mike (twice!)

View Post

Yes, it was two for the price of one, on Mike Willdridge’s online interactive painting session last Thursday. The theme was a wet and windy day on the Isle of Gigha, Scotland. And Mike made not one, but two demonstration paintings. You can see them side-by-side above. Many of the 100 or so participants also took up the challenge to make two paintings and, as usual, I have selected a few of them from the many sent into our online Gallery. Again, our thanks to Mike and all the participants and apologies to those whose wet and windy masterpieces were left out through lack of space.

We are running our online sessions every Thursday, in lots of different mediums, with half a dozen of our inspiring Watermill tutors. Our guests have called them ‘morale boosting’ and ‘a wonderful distraction’. Come and join us. To find out more, please go to the Online Courses page on the Watermill website, by clicking here.
